About Us

North Navigational Services was established by Mr Sylvester Perera, MCGA (UK) Certified Compass Adjuster and Computer Scientist to provide professional and Approved Navigational services with special focus on Magnetic Compass Adjusting, Service Repair and Certification to all vessels to meet with the regulations. We work tirelessly alongside the United Kingdom Maritime and Coastguard Agency and the Chart and Nautical Instrument Trade Association to make sure that correct standards are maintained.

Sylvester started his journey at B. Cooke & Son Ltd who has industry experience of over 150 years in repairs and manufacture of various scientific & optical instruments, which include Magnetic compasses, Sextants, Clocks, Barometer and Gauges. Sylvester served his apprenticeship under Master craftsman Mr Brian Walker and Mr Norman Camish and honed his skills as well as preserve that knowledge for future generations. North Navigational Services Ltd continues to grow and adopt modern technologies to expand on
the portfolio of products and services we provide to our clients with our exceptional customer service.
